USAF Mobile Water Supply (MWS) Fire Practice Test

Setting up multiple portable water tanks requires a team because several tasks must be done simultaneously and safely. You need someone to position and secure the tank, someone to operate and monitor the pump, and someone to handle hose connections, prime the system, and watch for leaks or hazards. With only one or two people, there isn’t enough manpower to manage setup, start-up, and ongoing safety checks at the same time. Having three or more ensures the pump can be operated, hoses can be connected and laid out, and water flow can be monitored while keeping personnel safe. In practice, three is the minimum, and more hands can handle additional tanks or tougher terrain.
